For those patients interested in refractive surgical procedures, such as LASIK or PRK, Drs. Contento and Kaplan are at the forefront of this technology.  The refractive procedure is performed at the University Eye Center's Laser Eye Institute across from Bryant Park in midtown manhattan.  All of the pre-op and post-op visits are done in our Bronx offices.  Drs. Contento and Kaplan are both instructors within the Laser Eye Institue where we teach future doctors this technology.  We can do a screening to see if you are a candidate.
