Dr. Annette Contento is a private practice full scope optometrist practicing in the Bronx for over 20 years. She is a Phi Beta Kappa Graduate from Queens College and attended SUNY College of Optometry where she graduated with high honors in 1991. Dr Annette Contento is a very active member of the SUNY Optometry Alumni Association and has been for many years. She juggles a vigorous lifestyle caring for 4 children and being actively involved in their activities. She has served on numerous committees for her community including fund raising for the Parent Teacher Association and participating in candidate support socials for the Board of Education. Dr. Contento is currently a Girl Scout leader of two troops and has been active in scouting for over 12 years. In fact, Dr. Contento has recently received the prestigious Girl Scout Leader of the Year Award after recognitions as Outstanding Leader and Outstanding Volunteer.
